World Food Movement Dallas respects your privacy. This page explains how you can request deletion of personal data associated with our website (wfmdallas.org), email and SMS communications, meal or event registrations, donation-related contact records, and our online portals or forms where you have submitted information.

How to request data deletion

Send a request by email to info@wfmdallas.org with the subject line Data deletion request.

Please include enough information for us to verify your identity and locate your records, such as:

• Full name
• Email address and/or phone number you used with us
• Brief description of which services you used (e.g. newsletter, volunteer signup, meal registration, donation, donor portal)

We may follow up with additional questions only as needed to confirm the request and protect your information from unauthorized deletion.

What we will do

• We will process verified requests within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days.
• Where applicable, we will remove or anonymize your personal information from our active systems and unsubscribe you from marketing email and SMS lists.
• Some information may be retained where the law requires (for example, anonymized donation records for tax or accounting purposes). We will explain any limitations in our response when they apply.

SMS and marketing opt-out

To stop SMS messages without a full data deletion request, you can text STOP to the number from which you receive messages. You can also opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails. See our Privacy Policy for details.
